You can use your action to make a melee attack against any number of creatures of your choice within your reach, with a separate attack roll for each target.
- Taking this unique action also counts as taking the attack action, for the purpose of features that require you took the attack action on your turn.
- Maneuvers can be applied to these attacks, but only affect one target of the whirlwind attack for each maneuver you use.
- Sources of additional damage that apply on only one attack in a turn will apply to the first target that you chose when initiating a whirlwind attack, and not to the others.
